Hi Ground Culture Family,
To everyone who voted: thank you. Genuinely.
It happens because real people opened a link, clicked our name, and told the rest of the country that this little Cape Town comedy club is doing something worth shouting about. That’s you. We cannot thank you enough. To each and every single person that voted, bought tickets to a show or liked a post of ours.
To our fellow nominees in the Best Show/Venue category and we wouldn’t be here without the scene we’re all building together, a huge congratulations to you too!

More space for fresh comics finding their feet on our stage.
And yes still the best smash burgers in Cape Town. We weren’t going to slip on that.
The comedy scene in this country is having a serious moment, and we’re going to keep doing our bit to grow it.

4. In June, we're welcoming the Fantastic Conrad Koch & Chester Missing for 3 Days. Fresh off a Savanna Comics Choice Award, this one is going to be a goodie but tickets are selling fast! R180 a person, 9, 10 and 13th of June 2026.
